Blessing of the Fleet Cutting Boards

Lighthouse Art

“Blessing of the Fleet” is a photograph taken of the commercial, recreational, and charter fishing fleet – and the United States Coast Guard Station Cape Hatteras, during the annual “Day at the Docks” celebration of local watermen.

I individually reproduce my original photographs and art onto these tempered glass cutting boards. – Jennifer Johnson

Impact resistant tempered glass also resists bacteria and odors.  Strong, durable cutting boards can also be used as trivets, serving trays, or simply kitchen decor when not in use.  Using dye sublimation via a heat press, the design is transferred into the polymer coating on the bottom side of the cutting board.  Rubber feet prevent slipping when cutting or rolling out dough. Hand washing is highly recommended to prolong the life of your functional kitchen art.

Sizes may vary slightly and depend on whatever “blanks” are currently available to us. Two sizes are available:  Medium and Large.

  • Medium: 7″-8″ x 11″-12″
  • Large: 11″-12″ x 15″-16″

These cutting boards make great gifts for weddings, housewarmings, birthdays, holidays or “just because.”  Many designs are available.  Want to make it even more memorable?  Add a set of coasters or some handmade pottery.  We’re happy to ship directly to your gift recipient.
