Teach Yourself: Elastic Bind Off
All this yucky windy, wet, cold (did I mention WINDY?) weather has me wanting nothing more than to crawl under a blanket, enjoy the quiet when it happens, and make new things.
I decided to make a pillow out of Mazzo and Marmo by Louisa Harding. I'm meeting my yarn rep this week and am excited to know that in addition to the eight colors produced last year, there are eight more coming out for 2018! I finished up the Mazzo part this morning (see sneak peek photo below) and needed to teach myself a new bind off technique that looks similar to the long tail cast on technique that is my go-to.
Thanks to Google, I found sweetgeorgia's tutorial for "Elastic Bind Off". I've posted the link below. It is super easy, well explained, and I love the result!
Do you have a favorite Cast On or Bind Off?
Thought for the Day:
Never miss a chance to say I LOVE YOU.

I'm using Mazzo and Marmo Yarns to create a decorative pillow. Stay tuned...
